Kashmir and the world’s agenda
It is the moral obligation of the world to intervene and save Kashmiris from the Indian aggression
If we go back to the pages of history, it is evident that no force on this planet has ever succeeded in keeping a nation as slave for an indefinite time. The world has innumerable stories of merciless oppressions by the occupied forces as well as that of the untiring struggles of the nations for independence and freedom.
If we go back to the pages of history, it is evident that no force on this planet has ever succeeded in keeping a nation as slave for an indefinite time. The world has innumerable stories of merciless oppressions by the occupied forces as well as that of the untiring struggles of the nations for independence and freedom.
The present world scenario can be categorised into four factions: i.e., poor countries, semi-developing countries, developing countries and advanced countries. The response of each country to the issues of the present world is directly proportional to its economic and political priorities.
The last three to four decades of world history portray different breakdowns and disintegrations of states and rise and fall of various nations. The Yugoslavia led by Marshall Tito came to a breakdown and Croatia, Montenegro; Bosnia, etc, emerged as independent states.
When the Soviet Union was facing severe economic collapse it adversely affected its hold on the already annexed states of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, etc, and finally these states also emerged once again as independent countries. The same was the case with the Baltic States when Latvia, Litvania and Estonia also came out of the shackles of the Soviet Union.
If we analyse the phenomenon of freedom, it appears very crystal clear that some nations are lucky enough that they enjoy the gift of freedom without any bloody struggle. The United Kingdom, being the mother of democracy, put no bar on the referendum in Scotland and allowed the Scottish masses whether to have an independent state or wish to live in the UK.
The UK also very amicably resolved the issue of Hong Kong with China. When the people in Cyprus were having political and economic hardships, they were given the option to determine their own destiny and resultantly, Greek Cyprus and Turkish Cyprus emerged. When the people of East Timor were trying to have their rights, the United Nations very comfortably managed to arrange their right of determination.
